Is she really THAT big?

Skyler had her 3 year well visit on Wednesday April 13th. Who knew that she grew 3 inches since last year?!

She is now officially 37 inches tall (3ft 1in for the people who don't know math) and weighs 32 pounds.

Next time we go to The Great Escape Lodge I'm bringing a measuring tape. Their signs state that you have to be 36 inches tall to ride the waterslides with an adult. She 'measured' about 3 inches to short, according to their standard. I had her doctor's office measure her TWICE and she measured 37 inches both times. Apparently The Great Escape Lodge doesn't know how to use a ruler!!!

All in all, we are doing well and Skyler is acting her age, THREE!!!

Where did the last 3 years go? I feel like it was just yesterday we were bringing home a brand new baby girl. Now, she's 3 and full of A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E!!! If you don't believe me, I'll post a video of her having a temper tantrum some day!

We had her party on her birthday with only a select few family and friends. It turned out to be a great day. Really nice weather and all!!! Following her party, we brought her to The Great Escape Lodge for some fun in the water. Let's just say, their measuring sticks are wrong so we missed out on the waterslides, but still had an amazing time. So much so that Skyler threw a fit because we had to leave. All was forgotten once the wait staff at Johnny Rockets sang her happy birthday and gave her ice cream. You can always win her over with ice cream!!

1st Ultrasound

We had our first ultrasound Thursday morning and things went really well! They pushed my due date back 8 days so now it is November 23rd. We got to see the heartbeat as well, so things are looking really good!!

We go back in 4 weeks, and during that time we need to decide if we want to be tested for Down's Syndrome. We didn't even consider it with Skyler, but this time we might.

I ended up receiving IV fluids on Tuesday due to hyperemesis and persistent vomiting. Morning sickness has been better the last two days, though. It's amazing how good food tastes after not eating for 2 days!!

Skyler is better as well! Today is her birthday! Happy 3rd Birthday Skyler!!!

Morning Sickness and an Ill 3 Year Old

Nothing new has been happening lately. Well.. that's if you count my horrible morning sickness and Skyler being sick AGAIN as nothing.

Hopefully we will be spending time tomorrow with family while Pete is at work. Such a bummer to work strictly weekends. I hope Skyler can kick this cold soon and be back to her old self. Poor Kid!
